In September 2018, the project celebrated its Kick-off Meeting in Berlin, where partners of the consortium started to define the first period developments.
So far, MEISTER has completed its comprehensive analysis of existing urban e-mobility ecosystems versus user needs, which included the execution of surveys in the MEISTER pilot sites and other relevant cities in the electromobility field such as Barcelona, Bremen, Madrid, Mantova, Oslo, and San Sebastian. Moreover, the e-Mobility legal framework and institutional structure were studied in order to incorporate the legal and regulatory requirements to the subsequent activities. Finally, scenarios and use cases were depicted in order to lead to the MEISTER user requirements currently defined, that will be used to build the MEISTER products/ services for end users.
On the other hand, the definition of the innovative business models for e-mobility smart and integrated services has already started and will provide 11 Strategic Outline Business Cases by September as the first step of the Five Case Model Methodology (strategic, economic, financial, commercial and management cases).
The design of the MEISTER e-mobility interoperable platform for smart cities (MEISTER product P2 and P3) has already been initiated with the design of the architecture of the MEISTER tools and services.
