German energy giant E.ON, partner of the MEISTER project, has launched an electric vehicle strategic partnership with French vehicle leasing company ALD Automotive.
Together the companies will develop mobility, financing, and energy services for corporate and private customers, plus municipalities, in Europe. The joint offering will include consultancy, planning, installation, operation and maintenance of charging infrastructure for both corporate and home sites. It is already underway in Denmark and the partnership plans to also target Germany, Sweden, Norway and the UK.
“Building an ecosystem of partners is core to our strategy and key to electrify mobility,” said Andreas Pfeiffer, head of e-mobility at E.ON. “Bringing together experience and excellence from different industry sectors helps us to build unique solutions for everyday needs of our customers.”
This month in Denmark, a EV leasing offer for private E.ON customers was launched. It offers a vehicle from ALD combined with E.ON’s intelligent energy home solutions. The EV drivers also have access to Denmark’s largest charging network, E.ON Drive, which has 1300 public charging spots.
